But through the partnership with Viber, a leading trustworthy messaging application in Vietnam, the user experience is elevated, especially money transferring, which is one of the preferable features of MoMo. “Money transferring and messaging have always been available on the MoMo application. Furthermore, MoMo’s stickers have been integrated on Viber to make conversations more lively. Also, users will be able to purchase mobile phone prepaid pin code and 3G/4G mobile data for themselves or for others. To top-up mobile phone, users will be redirected to the MoMo App, then select denomination and confirm to finish the transaction. This feature will definitely be useful for groups of friends and colleagues that often share bills for food or shopping. Users in the chat group click on the link, enter the amount to be transferred and confirm. To use this feature, in the chat group, users just need to select MoMo at Extension, input the total amount to be divided, and the money transfer link will immediately switch to the group chat window.
Viber and MoMo believe the money sharing feature in MoMo will be endorsed by young Viber users. Upon completion, the user will be redirected back to Viber where the peer-to-peer transfer results will appear on the chat box. Users will then be redirected to the MoMo App where a PIN/Face ID will be required in order to finish the transaction. Viber will then show the MoMo Money Transfer interface, allowing users to input the receiver’s number, the amount to be sent, and their message. To transfer money/request money, the user simply opens the MoMo Chatbot on Viber and click on the Money Transfer button. The partnership aims to enhance Viber user experience by adding money transfer/request money transfer and topup mobile phone functions at Chatbot MoMo or Chat Extension (Gif+ icon at the bottom of the screen on Viber chat).
