They arrive back at Nornkeep and upon finding Hogun's note, Balder and Thor heads for home, to rule Asgard, where Thor told Balder that, Asgard has been destroyed and Odin is dead. Using his light powers, Balder frees Karnilla and with Thor reduces the Frost Giants in size, and melts the castle of Utgard-Loki. With the help of Whiteface, Agnar makes it back to Nornkeep. Thor has sent Agnar to Karnilla to summon Balder back to help in his quest to Hel. Hes therefore unaware that Odin fell to his possible death fighting Surtur.
But he is caught and forced to fight Hagen, who is armed with the Sword of Frey. Balder was teleported off of Midgard by Karnilla at the end of the Ancient Winters war, and hes been spending time with her since then. Balder has snuck his way into the castle of Utgard-Loki. Balder and Agnar return and head out to rescue her. The Frost Giants attack Nornheim, and kidnap Karnilla. Balder eventually finds him, and begins training to join Thor for his trip to Hel (region of Niffleheim).
Agnar arrives to tell Balder all that has happened, but is intercepted by Karnilla, and thrown into a dungeon. That said, I'm on Twitter So holler.Balder is in Nornheim, unaware of Odin's fate.
